Harris Corp. has won an $8 million contract to provide software to the Department of Veterans Affairs for tracking correspondence between the VA and veterans.

The VA will purchase under a three-year contract that falls under the Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology contract vehicle, Harris said Wednesday.

Vishal Agrawal, president of Harris Healthcare Solutions, said the offering is intended to help create a modern workflow management system for the VA’s communications with veterans, their families and other stakeholders.

MicroPact‘s entellitrak business process management system will be used throughout the VA and includes software licenses, maintenance, help-desk support, installation, testing and training.

The VA Central Office, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Benefits Administration and the National Cemetery Administration will all use the correspondence software.
